LOCATION
The plant is located at Lamloi , Rajgangpur and it is about 40 Kilometers from Rourkela. This area is located in the District – Sundergarh, which is northern part of Odisha. This district is bounded by Sambalpur, Keonjhar & Jharsuguda district.
PLANT CAPACITY
The unit is having 3 no. of D.D. Kiln of minimum 300 M.T. each capacity which can produce an average of 1000 M.T. of finished products in one month. So the annual capacity would be approx 12000 M.T. for 3 no. of D.D. Kiln.
We also have 2 no. of Grinding Unit for manufacturing magnesia carbon dust and grains of sizes varying from 0 to 5 mm. as per the requirement.
ENVIRONMENT
The climate in the area is generally hot type. The average rainfall is around 1500 M.M. The rainy days confined to the period between June to September. The maximum temperature is 44 degree Celsius & the average temperature is 25 degree celsius. The humidity in the area is low. The area is mostly mineral rich & iron ore, Limestone, Manganese, coal etc. are found in huge quantity. The main cultivation of the area is rice.
Generally wind flows with fluctuating direction. The direction of wind is generally from North-East or East to South –West. The wind velocity is average.
Environment in the area is suitable for the location of the plant.
The firm will take all the necessary steps to minimize Air, Water or sound pollution, so as to come within acceptance level as set out by the pollution department.
POWER
The power consumption in production of Refractory Bricks ranges depending upon the type of technology, nature of raw material and capacity of the plant. The unit proposed a connection of 150KW. Power connection is available easily from Western Electricity Supply Company of Odisha Limited (WESCO).
WATER
The water requirement for the proposed unit would be met from proposed underground source through tube well. Government’s water connection is also available for domestic use.
